Spike was born and raised in Natchez. He and Ginger were married in 1960 and they have made Natchez their home ever since.

Having always been interested in the many historic properties in Natchez they bought and restored the Linton House, circa 1810 Federal Style house, in March 1994. After two years of work they moved into their home in 1996. Their hard work was rewarded when the Historic Natchez Foundation presented them with the George & Ethel M. Kelly Restoration Award for the outstanding restoration project for the year 1996.

Their home, the Linton House, has been featured in Traditional Home Magazine and the Home & Garden Networks TV program “Homes Across America”.

When the Wilkins Town House, located next door to the Linton House, became available in 2002, they purchased it and after about a year of work they turned it into a bed & breakfast.

They are looking forward to meeting and visiting with each of their guest. Their knowledge of Natchez will allow them to help with advice on what to see and do, if requested.
